Thank you for your interest in Bethel. We’re eager to share with you this great institution nestled in beautiful McKenzie, Tennessee. We’ve been a part of this community for more than 150 years, and the healthy working relationship Bethel has with the city of McKenzie allows us to continue to provide quality higher education, employment, and facilities and services to the community. Established in 1842, Bethel University is affiliated with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Six colleges now operate under the Bethel University “umbrella” and one more college is being developed. Those colleges are the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Professional Studies, the College of Graduate Studies, the College of Criminal Justice, the College of Education, and the College of Health Sciences. A College of Religious Studies is being developed.
